Choir Microphones Setup

Extracurricular Activities

Engaging in extracurricular activities provides students with the opportunity to explore their interests, develop new skills, and foster teamwork. Students get to join choir, hand bells/chimes, cooking classes, agriculture, construction projects, animal husbandry and much more. We have 3 class cats and lots of baby koi fish in the student-built koi pond.

Community Gardening Activity

Community Engagement

On Tuesday afternoons Mentone SDA Elementary School collaborates with a Co-Op to offer a time for students to socialize with over 60 other students while learning more about practical life skills. Whether it is our weekly canvassing program  selling books door to door, or food drives for those in need. Additionally, our students are raising money to go to Costa Rica for a mission trip to build a classroom for students their age across the world.

Teacher Helping Students

Student Support

Our school is a multigrade school, meaning we have multiple grades in the same classroom. This allows for lower teacher to student ratios ensuring that students receive more instructional time and support from both the teacher and their upperclassmen.
